Chinese New Year Dinner

A very warm gathering over great food to bring in the year of the horse. For many members, it was their first Chinese New Year away from home, but we still managed to include some popular traditions, such as the 'tossing' of yee sang. The festivity was further enhanced by many individuals wearing traditional Chinese attire, braving the pouring rain and howling winds. This may have delayed our start, but it didn't dampen the mood in the slightest. The evening was loud and full of laughter; the necessities for a successful Chinese New Year dinner. It was a wonderful congregation for many of us who were feeling homesick during such a momentous occasion. Although we may not have been with any immediate family members, it didn't mean we weren't with any family. Such is the unity of LSESU Malaysia Club.
