Dialogue Session with YB Khairy Jamaluddin

LSESU Malaysia Club recently hosted an informal dialogue session with YB Khairy Jamaluddin on the 24th of February 2014. The event started off with YB Khairy Jamaluddin giving a speech about the political scene back home. He spoke primarily about the economic situation back home and was candid about the difficulties faced regarding subsidy cuts amongst other issues. Then, it was followed by an interactive Q&A session where attendees were able to direct questions to YB Khairy Jamaluddin about certain issues.

He answered questions that were political, economic, as well as controversial in nature. It was an engaging session that ended with a quick photo session, including a ‘selfie’ by the Minister himself. Refreshments from Malaysia Hall were provided by the High Commission to all participants of the event.
