Employment Skills Workshop with Accenture

On the 26th of March, LSESUMC held a career development talk and digital branding Workshop with Accenture in Clement House. The talk was attended by Malaysian students from universities all over UK such as UCL, Imperial College London, Kings College London and Cambridge University. Janet Yap (Country Managing Director) and Johan Khoo (Strategy Managing Director) gave an introduction to Accenture Malaysia and its career opportunities. We got a glimpse of how a day of an Accenture consultant looks like, the globality of Accenture and also about the diverse stress-relieving activities held in Accenture. Subsequently, Wee Kiat (Campus Recuitment) and Ria Novita (ASEAN Campus Recruitment Lead) shared about posting responsibly and being presentable on social media platforms. Key takeaway: Only post statements you are willing to defend; and pictures that you are comfortable showing to the public. The engagement ended with a networking session over refreshments. Indeed, every business is a digital business. Accenture has played a major role in the development of corporate Malaysia and we are extremely grateful to have representatives from Accenture to share their knowledge and experience with us. We hope to have more collaborations betweeen LSESUMC and Accenture in the future.
